We also have stadium fields, dressage arenas, a challenging cross country course, and miles of mountain trails. We have 50 stalls in our stables, and 2 enclosed instructional rings. The indoor arena includes a heated observation room. Willow Hill attracts riders of all ages and levels.
We specialize in Dressage and Eventing and are members of the United States Dressage Federation and the United States Eventing Association.
Julie Edwards owns and operates Willow Hill Farm along with daughter Tara and her husband Fran Bola. The combined family specialties in equine sports and farm management work together to create a well rounded educational experience for our students. Julie competed at the Prix St Georges level in Dressage and is a National Examiner for the United States Pony Club. Tara evented at the Advanced Level and is a Pony Club graduate B. Her cross country clinics draw students from all over New England.
Another daughter, Tawn, brings campers from her riding school in Georgia and spends half of the summer teaching and riding. Julie, Tara, and Tawn are certified instructors with the American Riding Instructors Association. Son Ken Edwards visits Willow Hill throughout the year and during Summer Camp to offer jumping clinics. He resides in Florida and has competed in Grand Prix jumper events and trains jumper riders and horses. He is a B level graduate of the United States Pony Club.
