High School Horsemanship Program

Willow Hill Farm‘s High School boarding program offers daily riding lessons, while living on a working horse farm and attending a nearby high school.

Willow South Riding School is owned and operated by Tawn Edwards, United States Pony Club graduate and ARICP certified instructor.

Willow Hill Farm’s summer horse camp program offers riding twice daily, dressage, stadium jumping, cross country and trail riding. Days are filled with horse activities geared towards developing the knowledgeable horseman.

Facility

Our horse farm is the most complete equestrian center in the Adirondack Park. We offer an indoor arena, stadium fields, dressage arenas, cross country course, and miles of trails.

Our Philosophy

At Willow Hill Farm our philosophy is to bring the whole world of the horse to the child, with all its realities.

Staff
Our staff centers around our farm family, Gerald and Julie Edwards, their daughters Tara and Tawn, and their families. All are professionally certified.

CONGRATULATIONS

to Rebecca S. Cohen, a former WHF camper who had a spectacular performance on Jan. 25 and 26, 2013 at the Wellington Classic Dressage Sunshine Challenge / World Dressage Masters in the FEI Junior Rider Young Rider Team Test (PSG) YR NAJYRC GAIG/USD.

Riding her own horse Downtown, a Westphalian chestnut gelding, she finished third on Friday with a score of 62.325% and second on Saturday with a score of 65.088%.

Breeding Program

Willow Hill Farm’s stallion, Withages is an approved Oldenburg stallion from Holland.

NEWS from the FARM

An expanded cross country course was created in 2012. There are several new jumps and more to come.
